South Coast Botanic Garden is a public garden on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, built on land that was once a landfill. Its three-acre Children's Garden is themed around nursery rhymes, with mounds and dips for hands-on discovery, a food garden, and a wooded area called the Rambling Woods. The garden's plantings come from around the world.
