This hilltop park in Redondo Beach is a wooded pocket of trees, ponds, and trails that was once a lookout used by the Chowigna people. Volunteers with the South Bay Parkland Conservancy have replanted slopes with native species and are restoring a bluff habitat for the endangered El Segundo blue butterfly. Schools and scouting groups use it for outdoor learning.
