The children's area of Cerritos Library has a Save the Planet theme, with Stan, a 40-foot T. rex fossil replica, plus a lighthouse, a rainforest tree, a space shuttle model, and a geologic time line. One side of the building's large saltwater aquarium can be seen from the children's section. A Little Theater and arts studio host programs like storytime and crafts.
