Docked on the Los Angeles waterfront in San Pedro, the retired USS Iowa is a museum ship and home of the National Museum of the Surface Navy. Visitors follow a real sailor's story through the ship, collecting skills like seamanship, navigation, and damage control along the way. Kids can take part as sailor recruits in a scavenger hunt with Vicky the Dog.
