Alamitos Beach is the westernmost beach in Long Beach, with free volleyball courts, restrooms with rinse showers, and a concession stand that rents beach cruisers, surrey bikes, and beach gear. A paved bike path and a separate walking path link it with downtown and Alamitos Bay. A seasonal inflatable Wibit aquatic playground with springboards, bouncers, and monkey bars has been set up offshore.
